SUPER FLOWER MOON 🌕

SUPER FLOWER MOON 🌕

Tonight is the last Supermoon of the year.

In celebration of The Flower Moon, we decided to embrace her glowing magic with a cup of Blue Moon milk.

The rich, natural colour comes from butterfly pea flower powder - an age-old Ayurvedic remedy for sleeplessness. Perfect beverage before bed to fall into a blissful slumber.

Also known as Clitoria Ternatea, it's a herb widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to support the central nervous system. It's said to enhance memory, alleviate stress, help insomnia and urinary disorders. Loaded with antioxidants – to help boost circulation and collagen production.

As I don't like plain warm milk, we simmered the pea powder with a little cinnamon, cloves, honey, cardamon and a pinch of ashwaganda which also promotes feelings of calm before bed. (I highly recommend ashwaganda for those who suffer from insomnia, it really helped me with those dark, frustrating, lonely and restless 3am struggles!) Full of natural, nourishing ingredients.

It's dreamy, creamy and earthy in flavour - I hope this comforting blue moonmilk will lead to some insightful dreams.

Rest well everyone.

Good night Mama Moon.
