DINNER

DINNER

Today's pickings from le jardin included thyme and rosemary roasted tatties.

The courgette, kale and spring onions were used to make a tangy chicken stew, marinated with tamarind, ginger and orange.

Well fed today. 🙏

FOREST FRUIT FORAGE

It's that time of year again...time for a good old jam session.

We just went for a casual walk today despite the greyness outside. These berry beauties are still ripening up and alot of them ended up in my mouth. Can't wait for another round of proper picking, I'll try and resist myself from eating them next time!

SEASONAL CRUMBLE

A quick dash around some of our favourite foraging spots to collect some apples for tomorrow's crumble.

It's still crazy to me that an average supermarket apple can be over a year old. So there's something really wonderful about just simply picking these beauties straight from the tree, fresh and full of nutrients and minus the chemicals.

Seasonal, sufficient and safe :)
