THE ALCHEMIST GARDEN - JUNE

THE ALCHEMIST GARDEN - JUNE

My third installment of notes and observations from my sanctuary.

An opportunity to remember, reflect, observe, and mindfully learn from our mutually platonic relationship with Mama earth.

OLD LADY PLANT

...as my mum used to say.

Our lavender is flourishing. So much plant power in this purple perennial.

I'll be cutting a few stems and hanging them to dry in the next few day to use for future concoctions!

IT'S RUDE TO STARE...

but I couldn't take my eyes off this magnificent creature. This stag beetle decided to pay our hive a brief visit.

Symbolically, the beetle has an interesting spiritual meaning. They represent hard work, a situation or goal we must persevere with, slow but successful development, stability, love, persistence, colourfulness, creativity, solidarity, instinct, and intuition. The beetle is also linked with success because of their determination and devotion to goals. They’re a symbol of transformation and luck. They are often associated with imagination and creation.

So the next time you see this beaut, consider yourself lucky!

DOUBLE STRAWB

The weird ones taste the best.

The symbol of Venus, Goddess of Love.

A legend says that if you share a double strawberry with someone, you will fall in love.

PEONY POPPIES

The bumbles love nestling inside these poppies. Shame they don't last very long, especially in the wind and rain.

COURGETTINIS

My courgette babes are off to a phenomenal start. Hoping the Sky gods will surprise us with more bursts of rainfall and sunshine this week.
